Allergan, the global pharmaceutical company behind Botox Cosmetic, Juvederm fillers and Kybella, announced that it is acquiring Bonti Inc. Bonti Inc has been developing a new neuromodulator called EB-001 to be used for both cosmetic and therapeutic use. Current neuromodulators on the market are Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin. These products take about a week for patients to see results while EB-001 is expected to take effect within 24 hours.
