New statistics released by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons have revealed that more patients over the age of 55 are opting for cosmetic procedures. Surgeons have concluded that this surge in procedures can be contributed to the rise of activity on dating websites. As baby boomers enter the modern dating scene, they are seeking treatments that will boost their confidence and help their appearance reflect how they feel. Since 2018, there have been 50,000 more cosmetic procedures than the previous year.
